Can anyone recommend somewhere to get some rubber to go round the crash back spring and what size does it need to be etc?

Large diameter silicone tube cut to length and put over spring is what seems the norm. Snooey did mine and am sure he would post some out.....when theres post again. Im sure ive some in my kit box, if I have I will bring it to Aldershot 4 u!

It's typically the silicone rubber used to join an exhaust silencer to the manifold, just the right diameter!

See if someone can turn you loose fitting aluminium sleeve instead,it doesn't let the spring distort at all.Just needs to be short enough to let the spring compress a little and allow for rake adjustment.
