Does anybody know if there is going to any food and drink available trackside, or should we bring our own?

Cheers Andy

Hi All

Spoke to Ben and obviously due to the sad loss of Robin, catering is a little bit more limited.

But there will be free hot drinks, worth bringing a mug :-) plus there's a microwave, toaster and kettle available for 'self service'. So if you want to bring your own food, it can be heated etc on site.

Cheers Andy

Do we have 240v power for charging at aldershot?
Under cover pitting?

Sorry, I've never been.

Hi Paul

No power or covered pits I'm afraid.

You'll need to be a member to practice on Friday, unfortunately, but the track is likely to be open by 9:00 on Saturday morning.

Stock for me please, Neal...I'll print off the online entry list later today.

what a great meeting really enjoyed my self a lot the bike went great the new front suspension worked really well needs a last couple of mods to finish them off as i found a couple stones under the metal brace. some really close racing in all classes, Simon and i was close all meeting but well done for the overall win well done Darren for the second final win, cheers to Paul as well for the idea to fix me triples i was mad they broke and just couldn't see the solution lol.

now i just would like to say thanks to Neal and Peter for the job they do in race control i know they have had some problems last couple meetings now lets just remember these guys are racers like us all now they only took on race director (which i think is the wrong title i think race control i.e just making sure races start) so that we ALL could go racing this year there is nobody else that would take it on so they stepped in to make nationals happen, now the way the last couple of meetings have been we wont have him next year he is not there to sort out bad marshalling (that happens to us all at some point) but lets face it if you crashed i'm afraid you only can blame yourself, but at the same time there are some that don't really put in the effort when marshalling but are quick enough to shout when they themselves have crashed which is not good enough really (if there are problems with marshalling the guys that are on the commity should deal with it not just leave it to Neal) so none of that is Neal's fault so i think as do others that it is unfair to put a guy under that stress when he only is doing the job as a favour to us so national happen he in my eyes is there to start races and fix computer related problems now i think for many many years bikes have a tendancy to skip laps now this is clearly visable on the computer and we have always corrected that never has there been a problem with that, that's how is has happened and will continue to happen Neal is not there to listen to a debate on it he corrects it end of results stand now i must make it clear this a general statement to all as to marshalling in the finals we all need to think how quickly we would like our own bikes marshalled and be on the ball i know there toy bikes and its no world title but it matter to us all but at the same time just remember its supposed to be fun and friendly as it has been since i started bikes in 2001 lets keep it that way.

Cant wait for Adur Darren i'll find those few tenths lol and Simon your avin it ;) ;)
