Enjoyed the meeting, good to see a decent turnout again, no doubt helped by the good weather!

Didn't do as well as hoped, but finished in my usual place for this track - I just can't seem to get the right-hand-side complex sufficiently consistent... :(

Planty of grip with the Roadie tyres on my stocker, but they do seem to blunt the performance a little with the extra weight compared with PMT's on plastic rims.

The bike wasn't as nimble as it might have been with lighter wheels, but it was able to hold a more consistent lean angle, so what you lose in some areas you get back in others. I also didn't suffer any significant degradation or over-heating compared with the SB guys with their extra power.

Thanks to all who helped put on the superb meeting. Well done to Matt and Simon taking A finals wins, and to all the other final winners.
Great pics John, can any of those get posted on the Facebook page?

Hi all
Just wanted to add my thanks to all involved. Really enjoyed my re-acquaintance with the bike, more practice needed I think! Maybe some less vintage tyres?

Also like to say a big thank you to mark for helping me out with my front brake problems.

Thanks for all the good comments about the cotswold national . It was nice to have such a good turnout of racers probably the best all season . The cotswold members did really well with peter winning both stock A finals with his new KP12 Fred taking one of the nitro finals and me winning the sidecar which is going really well at the moment i am going to try it with a lipo at the next national .

Thanks Neal V

I've been working away this week and when I got home there was a picture of my bike on the fridge it was taken at the Cotswold round by John Veal by the looks of it,
I asked the wife how it got there thinking she had printed it off not really knowing how she came across it in the first place.
She said it came in the post as postcard!

So a big thank you to who ever it was, its great.  :) :)

Not me anyway. But a nice gesture.

Has anyone else got photos or video of the event for posting? The moto5 facebook page is looking good now, filling up with photos and comments of Cotswold, but the more the merrier, so if you havn't already joined the group, I urge you to do so in the interests of promotion!

No problem Gary, it would be good if you took some at Adur though.
