any idea when the dimensions and wheel layout etc will be sorted for the sidecars? just that my work has dwindled to nothing, reckon I am going to have no work soon till the new year(then it goes mental as all my parts from the USA are held up), so wanted to get playing with my home build

only just noticed that its now single cell, do you need a special ESC for that? might have to give sidecars a bit of thought, didnt want to spend more money on batteries and ESC etc, suppose it depends how expensive the 1S stuff is?

Hi Tony

I think you will find that 2S Lipo is now permissible as both Neal and JJ started running them part way through the season.

Hi Tony

Looking back at the minutes/rules etc for next year it talks about final rules being defined by end of November this year, by maybe a poll or sorts. I don't really run in sidecar so it needs to be you sidecar guys who decide what you would like. Probably suggest starting a new thread with ideas etc. and then they can be thrashed out.

Cheers Andy

Any further progress on the calendar? I'm wondering about the Coventry MX event and if it will be on the dirt course (which it should be) rather than the Astroturf (which it shouldn't).

If we can have it at Coventry, I do recommend trying to get a cheap deal at this hotel via Trivago http://www.deverevenues.co.uk/locations/staverton-park.html
I managed a cheap deal of 50 for 2 per night in 2010, and it's a great hotel. If you get a 2 nighter, the Thrust2 and Thrust SSC is worth the visit on friday too and not far away. http://www.transport-museum.com/
