Anyone still use this?
I downloaded the latest version over xmas and love it, but would be good to race with someone here.
Still no bikes though.

Edit: entered first official races, 1/10 and 1/8 ic and coming next to last :(  Tips needed!

I have VRC, but use it only once in a while. Usefull in 2013 as it had the Halifax track on it. Got to drive the track before going to the national, which helped a bit, even if it was cars and not bikes.

I use my RC transmitter and RX with the VRC adapter, which I think helps a bit too. I need all the help I can get !!

GP Bikes is better for for me, I use the VRC interface, so feels a bit like controlling a RC bike around the track, except you are sitting on the bike.

IMHO These programs are great when its cold and wet outside, and may help in the real world. The VRC championships are usually led by people who do RC racing so think there is some crossover skills.

John, I will PM you my VRC account details, maybe we can get together sometime.

Sounds good to me JJ! I've not tried the multiplayer yet, we'll have to see how easy / hard it is.
I'm using my tranny too, I had the original adapter that came with an early game version, free with a Serpent Impact if I remember correctly, but it's not usb. So I just got a vrc 3 adapter and works perfectly.
I have to admit vrc does help with concentration and consistency, something I'm getting worse with as I get older, so even though it's only cars, it's still a  very useful thing to do in the off months to keep your thumbs supple.

I found the Halifax track is not quite correct, some short straights are a fraction longer in the game, but as it was my local club for many years before I even started bike racing, I was amazed at how I got the 1/8ic around in the game, it really did feel like it did for real 15+ years ago. The graphics and physics are just spot on.
