The road tolls will sum up as well.

And 1 thing I noticed: You are talking about a 12-15 Seater Van.
At least in Austria, you need a Bus License to drive more than a 9-Seater.

Diesel is currently around 1.50 Euro in Austria, but I would expect it to be higher in August.

I'm looking forward to a huge british racing team! :)

The Bus itself must have a fully loaded weight limit of under 3500kg (including a trailor)
if you only have a car license (B-License).

Looking at the names above Richard, you need to organise some jogging and gym sessions to get the weight down a bit.... ;D  ;)

Hopefully I can make both the Warm Up and the Worlds...
The "hopefully" word is there because by the end of March there will be a significant change at my job, and I MAY need to cancel both events or maybe only the Warm Up, if the change goes wrong.

Anyway, for now, being optimistic, I have booked flights to Vienna at 175 euros a piece (total 350), and car rentals that are supposed to be 18 euros a day, not including fuel. The distance from Vienna to track is around 200 km's (~125 miles) so I hope to get by with just a tankload of fuel!

As for staying near the track, it looks rather promising with prices per day per person starting from 16 euros and up to 26, which seem rather decent. Prices from the www.morac-graz.at, the site of the track.
I have booked flights/rental intending to arrive on Thursday for the Warm Up and on Monday for the Worlds, leaving both events on the Monday after the Sunday finals. Hopefully, I will be at the track in the afternoon...

I am racing Stock class again, as before, maybe with my second (newer!) SB-5, just to make sure everything is in tip top condition... My "old" bike has been into service since early 2011, has done the Lostallo in 2011, and 3 races at Riccione, in 2012... not to mention a couple thousand batteries in between! Really!!!
As for tires, I have a brand new Shark-Laps front (never used at the Worlds 2012!), a couple good fronts, and  a few used but good rears... so the cost on this will be zero!
I intend to buy a couple of wheels/tires from Marc Lutz (www.sharklap.de) for the worlds, though...

My first thoughts for the Worlds were to:
A: ride my BMW to Italy, then do the remaining (boring!) motorway to the track, but the ferry alone is around 340-360 euros each time). Then add the fuel for some 1500km's and the cost skyrockets...
B: I also thought of riding through Balcan Countries, like Serbia, etc, but again, big distance (around 1700km's from home) means a lot of days on the road, alone, and again big fuel costs...
In the back of my mind there's a plan to do this riding the Balcan some day, bit probably the time has not come... yet!
And, yes, I remember I've promised to ride my bike to Skipton, one day!

So, all being well, see you at the Worlds, lads, this year!!!!
