I plan to run Nitro.

The Superblade is being re-built as 'Black Phoenix' edition, after last years Mendip incident.

I also have the experimental M3R bevel drive Nitro, which is yet to prove itself.

I also want to run electric Stockbike so will be a busy time running two classes. Wish me luck !!

I need to have a chat with the Committee first and see what they think about a Hooligan class .

Re the hooligans...........I totally understand that this is a bike national, and the bikes come first....however in the past to get more people at our nationals, who would potentially go on to race bikes, racing Tamiya minis and F1's have been mentioned with no problems, apart that there was not that much interest and so nothing happened.......the Hooligans have taken off quite well with around 9 people with them now,..as I have said,IF there is time my thoughts were maybe two 15min slots given to the hooligans on the Saturday, for practice..as I understand that bike drivers ,including myself,do not want to be on track with cars......and maybe 3x 6 min heats and one or two finals on the sunday......

Just like to add they can all be run in one heat, and would only need one or two marshalls......or maybe no marshals?:-)

Hi Neal,

Please could you put me down for Stock (EB)

With regards to the Hooligans, as a compromise, how about a 2 or 3, 10 minute slots on the Saturday, and see how it goes ?

In 10 minutes we could probably have 3 x 5 lap sprint races ( short races as per real rallycross ) no need for timing, just who crosses the line first... The short races seem like the most fun to me..

I do understand that its a Bike national, the Hooligans are only a bit of fun, and can be quite entertaining to watch, there is usually much laughter on the rostrum, when its Hooligan time  ;)

Cheers, Darren.

THIS IS A BIKE NATIONAL

You're lucky you even have a national.  When I started with bikes we ran with 1/5th cars and numbers were not much less.  There are so few bikes that I'd have thought you would be welcoming any extra support.

Hope to pop down to say hello at some point over the weekend :)
